Dan Hoban joined US Safety & Security,
LLC in September 2006. Mr. Hoban specializes in direct support
for security related duties for Fortune 100 corporations,
Federal agencies, United States Golf Association, the LPGA
and the National Football League. Duties involve a full range
of security related activities ranging from explosive countermeasures,
physical security, chemical, biological and radiological
countermeasures and major event management.
Mr. Hoban has over twenty years experience with the Secret
Service, Technical Security Division. During his tenure in
the Secret Service he managed every aspect of the Technical
Security Division eventually gaining the title of Assistant
Division Chief responsible for Investigative Support, Field
Office Security and Infrastructure Protection for the Secret
Service. In this position he was responsible for; long and
short range planning including the evaluation, selection,
and procurement of all technical equipment; the development
and presentation of operational and technical briefings for
technical and non-technical personnel, including Presidents,
the Congressional leadership and their staffs, Office of
Management and Budget and other Agencies and Departments.
Mr. Hoban served as Chief United States Secret Service Technical
Security Division Hazardous Devices Countermeasures Branch,
responsible for creating and implementing the policies and
procedures related to preventing attacks on the President
and Vice President using military and commercial explosives,
weapons of mass destruction, improvised explosives devices,
and chemical, biological and radiological agents and sources.
Mr. Hoban served as the Senior Secret Service representative
on three separate deployments in direct support of the National
Security Council to determine the specific vulnerability
of overseas Embassies and Missions facing direct threats
of attack and served as the Secret Service explosive and
technical expert in a liaison role during the investigation
of major terrorist attacks against heads of state and protected
facilities. |
